The birth of Voltaeus started with a simple idea and a very simple question. Why does Very Durable have to mean Very Heavy? In researching this question, we fished with many rods from many different manufacturers. Our overall consensus was that to this point in Rod Building History, Durable does often relate to very heavy glass rich fishing rods that have little sensitivity and very little application character.
